If they let us go adrift…
We wonder why
If they don’t let us go adrift…
We wonder why
If they are around all the time…
We wonder why
If they are not around all the time…
We wonder why
If they hug us all the time…
We sometimes wonder why
If they don’t hug us enough…
We wonder why
If they want to talk to us…
We wonder why
If they don’t talk to us…
We wonder why
But there is one thing…
No need to wonder…
They will always love…
Their children
More than their own life
And life itself…
It is no wonder…
If they let us go adrift…
We wonder why
If they don’t let us go adrift…
We wonder why
If they are around all the time…
We wonder why
If they are not around all the time…
We wonder why
If they hug us all the time…
We sometimes wonder why
If they don’t hug us enough…
We wonder why
If they want to talk to us…
We wonder why
If they don’t talk to us…
We wonder why
But there is one thing…
No need to wonder…
They will always love…
Their children
More than their own life
And life itself…
It is no wonder…
