Echoes of The Past

As she elegantly watched her step
amidst stones that painstakingly massaged her feet, she meandered her way in
sync with the stream glimmering below her shadow.
On each glistening stone her
tireless feet left an imprint of what was, what is, what shall be…
And as a gentle, sweeping
stream filled her heart with nature’s lullabies, she was lured away by northern
winds that caressed her milky, white skin as they whispered sweet nothings of
what was, what is, what shall be…
Until, as if under a
whimsical spell, she fell into a blissful sleep under a cradling, weeping
willow, leaving behind sweet tear-filled, echoes of the past…
