Parents

by Virginia Earl

If they let us go adrift…
We wonder why
If they don’t let us go adrift…
We wonder why

A Christmas Bell

by Virginia Earl

What is this bell?
It rings every year
Back and forth
Loud and clear
It is not just a bell
That rings every year
It is a reminder
Every year

It rings for Our Lord
It rings for Christmas
It rings for Joy
It rings for faith
It rings for the fallen
It rings for forgiveness
It rings for freedom
It rings for friendship
It rings for gladness
It rings for heroes
It rings for hope
It rings for life
It rings for love
It rings for lost souls

It rings for mercy
If rings for peace
It rings for prayers

It rings for sadness
It rings for smiles
It rings for thankfulness
It rings for all, big and small
It rings for broken hearts
It rings for hidden tears
It rings for shed tears
Every year
Each ring is filled
With unspoken words
Of unspoken prayers
It is not just a bell

So next time you feel like hell
Stop, look, listen to this bell
Imagine you are this bell
For it carries a miracle
As deep as a well
It is not just a bell

BELIEVE in this miracle
For it is crystal clear
It is real
It is on a mission
For many missions

What is this bell?
But a constant reminder
That life goes on
That we are not alone
That we are all connected
For the sound of this bell
Seeks to touch every heart
It knows no colors

Of miracles to happen
When you stop, look, listen to this bell
BELIEVE in HIS miracles...

Exodus 28: 31-35...There shall be a woven edge like a collar[c] around this opening, so that it will not tear. Make pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn around the hem of the robe, with gold bells between them... .

Pomegranates: The symbolism behind this exotic fruit

As I cut this pomegranate, the redness of the juice and the arils made me think of one thing... Jesus' blood as he was being crucified and as I am posting these photos... strangely enough his picture pops up on the right side of my Wall... Here's some interesting information about the health benefits of pomegranates and the symbolism behind this exotic fruit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomegranate

Exodus 28: 31-35
“Make the robe of the ephod entirely of blue cloth, with an opening for the head in its center. There shall be a woven edge like a collar[c] around this opening, so that it will not tear. Make pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn around the hem of the robe, with gold bells between them. The gold bells and the pomegranates are to alternate around the hem of the robe. Aaron must wear it when he ministers. The sound of the bells will be heard when he enters the Holy Place before the LORD and when he comes out, so that he will not die.

Where do the clouds go mommy?

by Virginia Earl

She asked
Where do they go?
From here to there they go
Everywhere
That's where they go

Pasarán muchas lunas
con esta pluma
deslizándose como un puma

Recuerdos del alma

Tu tristeza, es mi tristeza,
tu dolor, es mi dolor
tu alegría, es mi alegría,
tus lágrimas, son mis lágrimas
pero los recuerdos de tu papá...

Aguanga

A Conversation

by Virginia Earl

The lights are on
The lights are out
Talk to me
What would you like to hear?
My dear

A Flash in a Dash

by Virginia Earl

He sneaked into
Our house
Like a guilty mouse
With a smirky smile
And perks on a pile
For awhile

Remember

by Virginia Earl

As time slips by you
Remember
To say I love you
Before the stars shine
Above you

Remember

To say I love you
Before each moment
Slips by you
As the sun hides
Around you

Remember
To say I love you
